Terms of booking and delivery
All contacts for booking of accommodation, auto rental, tours etc. will be made by Crete-Holidays. This means that these have not to be contacted by you.
Prices
At the time of your reservation, the prices as mentioned in our website are applicable.
However, Crete Holidays has the right to change prices in the website, without notifying in advance.
The prices are including taxes, possible service charges and other cost, as mentioned in our website.
After your request, the total costs will be confirmed by us through email.
When you agree with the reservation and the costs, you reconfirm these through your payment. After our receipt of your payment, your reservation is final.
For reservations (except for the rental of a car) made 30 days prior to your arrival, a deposit of 30% of the total cost is required. You will receive a receipt for the deposit by email for the amount paid.
30 days prior to your arrival, we will send you an invoice for the rest of the amount; this has to be paid 10 days prior to your arrival.
For reservations made 30 till 1 day prior to your arrival, the whole amount (100%) has to be paid.
After the full amount is received by us, we will send you by email your payment receipt and the voucher that has to be handed over to the accommodation, the car rental, the start of the tour etc.
Cancellation of your reservation
Cancellation of your reservation, made for any reason, will result in cancellation fees.
Our cancellation fees are as follows:
When you cancel your reservation till 31 days prior to your arrival: no cancellation fee, except our administration costs. These expenses were already made by us for your reservation, such as telephone calls, faxes etc.
For notice given between 31 and 15 days prior to your arrival: 20% of the total costs.
For notice given between 15 and 7 days prior to your arrival: 50% of the total costs.
For notice given between 7 and 1 days prior to your arrival and no-show: 100% of the total costs.
Extension / adjustment of your holidays
Extension or alteration of your holidays or car rental etc, when you are already on Crete, is not always possible. Crete Holidays cannot guarantee to offer you a similar or equivalent service. However, we will do our utmost to complete your requests as much as possible.
When, for whatever reason, you want to leave your accommodation earlier or when you want to return your car earlier, no refund of the paid amount can be given. The lessor will be free to re-rent after departure or handing in.
Tours
Itinerary
The itineraries of the tours are described in the relevant parts of this website. However, we reserve the right to modify the routing or alter the itineraries in case of a force majeure and / or reasons beyond our control and events that occur after departure of the tour.
Baggage and hand luggage
Every participant is responsible during the tour for his or her baggage and hand luggage. However, should something happen, our limited baggage and liability insurance is applicable.
Extra costs
All expenses of the elements as described in the tours, like transport, the overnight stays, the mentioned meals, entrance fees, taxes, etc. are included. All personal expenses like laundry, telephone, drinks are not included.
