Distances on Crete
To give you an impression see the index below.
The distances in between are not that big as you will have noticed, we therefore advise you not to travel more than a 100 kilometers a day.
This way you can start off in a relaxing way in the morning and get to see something while travelling, instead of racing from one town to the other.
You will be in time at your next destination. You will have all the time in the world to take that dip in the sea or to take another dive in the pool!
That's why we advise you to stay two nights at each destination.
You can spend a wonderful week exploring the eastside or Westside of Crete, but you will need two weeks to explore Crete from the east coast to the west coast.
However, saying that, you cannot expect to see everything in those two weeks. Crete is simply too big for that, thus you shall have to come back to see the rest!
