Monachus in Frangocastello.
Facing the well-known fortress of Frangocastello, approximately 300 meter distance from the nearest of the many sandy beaches of this area, this complex can be found. They were built in 2005, spaciously designed and orientated so that their balconies have views to the fortress, the beach and the nearby mountains, without being troubled by any winds. It is run by an enthousiast you couple, Evi en Spiros Georgilidakis. The complex is named after the (endangered) monk seal that frequented the waters of this area. The father of Spiros, remembers this well. On one of the first found coins, the monk seal can already be seen.
The complex consists of 3 separate buildings of 2 floors, in total 22 units.
The studios and the 1bedroom apartments have the same square meters. In the 1bedroom apartment you enter in the kitchen, via a small corridor, facing the bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin, you enter the bedroom with a double bed. The bedroom has a balcony with the nice view.
The 2bedroom apartments (suitable for 5 persons) consist of a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bed couch in the living room. All kitchenettes are practical equipped and have a dining table and chairs. All units have air conditioning and satellite TV, these are included in the price.
The large swimming pool of 125 m² also has a special part for children and enough space for the sun beds and parasols, also from here you can enjoy the spectacular views. In the café-bar next to the pool you can order breakfast or something to drink. A mini market will be available for the first necessities. Twice a week the units are cleaned and the bed linen and towels are changed.
When you are looking for a quiet complex with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, this complex has a lot to offer: from relaxing at the complex, discovering the many quiet sandy beaches till the many nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.
