Villa Arhontiko.
Only 10 minutes drive from the lively village of Almiryda (with nice sandy beaches, supermarkets and several well known fish restaurants and bars), this traditional villa Kritiko Arhontiko is situated at the end of a small road of Aspro Village. Aspro village can be found in the Chania prefecture in the area of Apokorona, only 20 minutes drive to Chania town. It is situated on the hill between Almyrida and Gavalohori and is one of the oldest villages of Crete. The great and rare beauty of the village is based on its architecture. The village you can see old gorgeous stone houses with gates made of stone as well. The village is full of beautiful trees and plants such as: oaks, sages and various aromatic plants.
Kritiko Arhontiko is one of the oldest houses of the area. It was the residence of the Turkish chief (Passa) of this territory and it had been built before 1840. With high attention, care and respect in the authentic architecture of the house, the restoration of the house was done. Also the selection of the furniture was chosen to meet the original atmosphere of the house.
Kritiko Arhontiko is suitable for 4-7 persons.
Like in the days of building, the inner side of the house is one huge space, subdivided by differences in height (1 or 2 steps). Therefore you can find a sitting area, a living area with and chairs, satellite TV, a DVD and CD player, a second living room in front of the fireplace and a dining area. In the right of the main space, the completely equipped kitchen with a table and chairs is found. For a winter holidays you can use the fireplace for creating warm and romantic atmosphere. Wood for the fireplace is then available.
The kitchen contains a two doors refrigerator, an electric stove, a dish washer, a coffee machine etc for making breakfast and meals. If you like traditional way of cooking you can use the oven with woods or barbeque, which are in the big yard of the house. The entire house is air-conditioned (cold-heat).
One of the most impressive elements in Kritiko Arhontiko is the bedrooms, which are found in different levels from the main space.
There are three bedrooms (2 double and 1 single) in two upper spaces of the house and two (with a single bed) meet going down two stairs from the main space. The beds are either from stone (traditional Cretan bed) or wooden with traditional style. The biggest bedroom is closed by a door; the others are separated by a curtain. In the bedrooms you can find all the essentials for your service as wardrobes or hangers, bedside tables etc. There are two bathrooms: one inside and the other outside the house. It has a laundry machine, a steam iron and a hair drier.
In front of the house there is a big terrace with comfortable chairs and a BBQ and a wood oven. Next to the house the private swimming pool is situated. From both the terrace and the pool you have a marvellous view into the valley and the White Mountains. Tranquillity and relaxation are offered here, together with the possibility to live the magic of the old times, combined with the luxuries of our time.
The above-mentioned prices are in Euro, per accommodation (studio, apartment, etc.) for 1 week or more.

All mentioned prices include a rent a car (a mini bus for 7 pers. with A/C) with all risk insurance (CDW) without own participation and unlimited mileage, to be collected and returned at the airport. Against a small surcharge it is possible to have a bigger car at your disposal.
